| Located right in front of the Mediterranean sea, in one of the most beautiful areas of the Spanish coast, the Oport1 House, tries to have a direct relationship with the astonishing landscape that surrounds it. The house also deals with the extreme weather conditions of its location: a very windy peninsula of “la Costa Brava” right near to the Cap de Creus National Park. |

| The project is an attempt to frame and diversify the amazing views and to translate these ones in sound spaces. The main space, connected through a double height to the back patio, looks to incorporate sun inside the house, for comfort but especially, for climatic reasons. The house has a green roof that will help to control the houses’ interior temperature changes, and will incorporate state of the art environmental conditions to fulfil the most height environmental standards. The configuration of the house, based on the openings to the different environments that surround it, defines unique relationships with the water and the mountain, its real asset. |
